i’d like to hear more diverse voices speaking directly to sexism in the scene also. all women experience sexism, not just the white ones, cis-gendered ones. interesectionality is the word of the day.
you could also ask some folks directly to contribute. i don’t know who reads ilivesweat, but since there are all these isms in our scene, some folks who might have great insights might...
word of the day: hackles
i like it for the same reason i like ‘vim’. it’s use is almost exclusive to forms of “raised their hackles”, though of course the verb tense and possessive pronoun can vary.
there is probably a word for these in-phrase-only words, no?
