Actors in adult movies in Los Angeles will be required to use condoms in all future adult films to be made. The city’s law was singed by Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa yesterday.
The law will take effect 41 days from it being signed.

i think eroticizing condom use will be really good for everyone, though i do understand that this will probably affect the industry and i don’t know that i have a problem with bareback porn. i mean, the industry has been doing a really good job of keeping itself healthy, and they deserve credit for that. but as an avid condom user* and advocate, i like that they will have to keep things sexy while using condoms. condoms are sexy, after all.
*i am, so far as i know, the only person who can’t feel the difference and have serious heart issues in my family history, so having a non hormonal form of birth control that has been, for my 34 year old self, 100% effective is pretty awesome
